The books to my right are the first cook books that I had picked up when I wanted to learn cooking. 

My first hand written recipe book and the cook books which I purchased on September 2007 for INR 89 from Chennai Landmark.

My mom was the best cook and am sure every kid says that. But she had a knack and curiosity to explore different cuisine. She had the habit of making her own cookbook : handwritten books and also a book binded with collection of recipes from various magazines #womenseramagazine #weekendmagazine #feminamagazineindia #mangayamalar (Tamil)

Cooking was her passion and the only flaw in that was, she never had the patience to teach me 😀 and neither did I bother learning stuff as I was confident she will be around and eventually I will pick it up from her.

Although there are enough bloggers and youtube pages, I still prefer trying out a recipe and writing it down!!!

A habit I hope never ceases.
