You never said you are leaving,
You never said goodbye,
You were gone before I knew it.
There are several times I have needed you,
There are several days I have cried and gone to sleep,
There are several days I missed hearing your chirpy voice,
There are several times I have pondered wondering why you?
Alas only God knows why.
I have and always will love you dearly.
In my heart you hold a place that no one can fill.
Remembering you and missing you a lot on your anniversary.

People who knew my mom knew she had the most beautiful smile and the most wonderful round jet black eyes. However she was a camera shy person. To get a clear image of her was a task on its own. Thank you Veena for introducing me to Arvin Ombika who made this lovely portrait of my mom. I really appreciate the effort that you put in and included the smallest of details.
